The Riviera’s charter coast runs a hundred kilometres from Menton on the Italian border to Saint-Tropez, and the miracle is how much of it one fast boat can reach in a day. We charter from Beaulieu-sur-Mer — the harbour at the coast’s exact sweet spot — which puts Monaco, Nice, Cannes and everything between inside a single day’s range.

How to think about a Riviera boat day
Renting a boat in the south of France comes in three sizes. Bareboat runabouts — you drive, six metres, one bay. Ticketed tours — someone else’s route, someone else’s crowd. And skippered private charter, which is the thing this coast actually does best: the whole boat, a crew who know the water, and an itinerary that is a conversation. We do only the third, with one boat, deliberately.
Geography decides more than people expect. The coast’s treasures cluster between Villefranche and Monaco — precisely the water our port sits in — so a charter from Beaulieu starts where charters from Cannes or Antibes spend an hour arriving. When to come
The season runs May to September; June and September are the connoisseur’s months — warm water, soft light, half the traffic. July and August deliver the full theatre and book earliest. May brings the Grand Prix and the Film Festival, the coast’s two great performances, both best watched from a deck. And the off-season is the Riviera the Riviera keeps for itself: empty anchorages, snow on the Alps behind Nice, the same boat with the coast to yourself. Rates are public on the prices page.

Chartering to The French Riviera,

For a private skippered day aboard our SACS Rebel 47: €3,200 for the full day, €1,900 for a half day, for the whole boat and up to ten guests, plus fuel — the standard structure on this coast. Bareboat runabouts rent for a few hundred a day; crewed superyachts start at tens of thousands. We sit exactly where a perfect day for ten people sits.
The water between Villefranche and Monaco holds the densest run of famous coast — Cap Ferrat, Èze, the principality — and Beaulieu-sur-Mer sits in the middle of it. Starting there means starting in the destination rather than commuting to it, which is why we berth where we berth.
For charter purposes, yes: Côte d’Azur is the French name, the Riviera the English one, and “south of France boat rental” searches land on the same hundred kilometres. Our water is its eastern, most dramatic half — Menton to Cannes daily, Saint-Tropez for the great day west.
