A meaningful fraction of our charters carry a secret: the ring in the dry pouch, the cake in the galley fridge, the guest who thinks the day is ordinary. Occasions are the thing a private boat does better than any restaurant — total privacy, built-in spectacle, and a crew practised at conspiracy. Here is how we stage them.

Proposals: the choreography
The classics work because they are classics: the empty cove with the question popped waist-deep in turquoise; the golden-hour run with the coast glowing and the engines cut at the right moment; the anchored evening off Monaco as the lights come up. The crew’s role is invisible logistics — the ring kept dry and findable, the champagne staged, the camera angles pre-agreed by conspiratorial text, the route timed to light. Tell us the yes-moment you imagine and we will engineer the sea around it.
Birthdays & anniversaries: the format
The boat holds ten, which is exactly a milestone dinner’s guest list — and the day beats the dinner. Cakes, flowers, banners and the good champagne can all be aboard before boarding (we coordinate with local pâtissiers and florists happily); the beach-club lunch becomes the party’s set-piece with the pontoon as red carpet; and the anniversary couples get the quiet version — the cove they had to themselves, the long lunch, the run home at gold. Surprise logistics are our favourite paperwork.

Worth knowing for occasion days
Book the date first and the theatrics second — peak-season Saturdays go earliest, and the golden-hour finish needs the later slot agreed ahead. Photographers are welcome aboard and count within the ten; drones need the captain’s airspace check near Monaco. And the weather policy gains an occasion clause in practice: if the forecast threatens a proposal day, we will move mountains — and failing mountains, dates.
The short answers
Routinely — “we’re going to lunch in Villefranche” has covered a hundred boardings. Brief us on the cover story and every crew member holds it to the quay’s edge.
Yes — we coordinate with Beaulieu and Nice suppliers for flowers, cakes and photography, delivered aboard before you arrive. Costs pass through at cost; conspiracy is included in the rate.
