A private boat is genuinely the easiest way to do the Riviera with kids; here is how the day works and what parents actually ask.

Why private beats every alternative with kids
The day bends around nap schedules, snack emergencies and attention spans in a way no tour timetable can: swim when they are hot, move when they are bored, lunch at noon or at two. The boat carries shade for the sleeper, a freshwater shower for the salt-cranky, and cabins below where a toddler can nap darkly at anchor while the adults hold their rosé in blessed silence. Parents consistently rate that last sentence the site’s best.
Safety, plainly stated
Lifejackets aboard in children’s sizes — tell us ages at booking and the right ones are laid out before you step on. The tubes give the deck high, reassuring sides; the swim platform sits at water level so small swimmers step in rather than leap; and the crew counts heads with the twitchy vigilance of professionals who count heads for a living. Underway, small children sit with adults; the captain sets speed to the youngest stomach aboard.

The kid-rated itinerary
The children’s podium, by years of survey: the Lérins strait’s shallow turquoise first (standing-depth sand, fish to chase); Villefranche bay second (calm, close, citadel to imagine pirates from); the fast bit third, fourth and fifth (the fast bit is always in the top five). Monaco’s Oceanographic Museum makes the perfect ashore hour for the fish-obsessed, and beach-club lunches welcome children at the sensible hours. Book the earlier start; young crews are morning crews.
The short answers
We have hosted every age from babes-in-arms to grandparents in the same party. The day simply shapes itself differently: more anchor time and shade for the smallest, more throttle for the teenagers. Tell us the ages and we build around them.
