What to bring aboard — and what to leave at the hotel.
The best-dressed guests arrive with one soft bag the size of a beach tote. The boat already carries most of what packing lists fret about, so this is less a checklist than a permission slip to travel light — with the four items people genuinely forget.

Already aboard, so leave yours behind
Towels — proper ones. Snorkelling masks and fins in adult and child sizes. Seabobs and a locker of water toys — the anchorage becomes a playground the moment the engines stop. A fridge of iced water for the whole day. Phone chargers, first-aid, and shade you can sit under when the sun wins. The packing list this page replaces mostly duplicates the boat’s own cupboards.
The four things people actually forget
A hat that ties or grips — fifty knots has claimed a hundred loose panamas. Reef-safe sunscreen, applied before boarding — the sea breeze hides the burn until dinner. A light layer — linen shirt, cotton jumper — because the run home at speed is gorgeously breezy even in August. The soft copy of your restaurant-worthy outfit if the day ends ashore: pontoon lunches forgive salt hair, La Réserve dinner less so.

Feet, bags and everything else
Shoes come off at the passerelle — teak is kind to bare feet, so bring espadrilles or nothing. Bring whatever luggage the day calls for: there is proper storage and two cabins below, so suitcases, camera bags and the just-in-case bag all have a home. One seafaring truth worth knowing: sunglasses have been known to take flight at speed — and the captain has a proud record of circling back for them. Everything else, the boat absorbs.
The short answers
Swimwear under something light — linen that goes from deck to lunch table. Flat sandals or barefoot, a hat that ties, and the evening’s dressier shoes in the bag for wherever the night takes you.
A complimentary welcome rosé is already on ice when you board — that one is on us. Beyond it, food and drinks can all be arranged for your day — champagne for an occasion, a lunch spread for the anchorage — quoted plainly when you book. And anything you would rather bring yourself goes straight into the fridge at boarding, cold before the lines are off.
